About Me

My name is Yolanda Taylor and I am the founder and owner of Empowerment Fitness. I’ve trained clients for a total of 19 years and operating Empowerment from my at home studio in Oak Park, IL. I’m passionate about helping people reach their fitness goals, living a healthy lifestyle, and overall feeling good about themselves.

What I Do

As a certified trainer, I offer a wide range of fitness services and training styles. Clients have the option to train with me one on one or with a group.

Group Fitness

Group training allows clients to train in small groups. (4-6 people) I focus on gaining flexibility, body resistance cardio, and weight training.

 24 pounds down and 30" lost overall. At 42 I didn't think it was possible, but now I know it definitely is. 12 weeks in and I see the difference and so do my kids. Now not only am I proud of myself, but my kids are proud of me too. Here's to the next 12 weeks and getting closer to my lifestyle goals.  Thank you, Yolanda and empowerment fitness for reminding me I can do anything I put my mind to.

The program is tough but designed to work. It challenges you to move fast where you are and strive toward where you want to go. You begin at your level but are encouraged to increase and move forward.
